Elven Helm - PDF Pattern for EVA Foam & Leather

Elf helmet printable PDF pattern for leather or EVA foam. (Patterns for both are included with purchase). This helmet was inspired by the elven helm worn by the Galadhrim in Lord of the Rings.

Leather Helm
- Materials: I used 10oz vegtan cowhide for the main body of the helm and 2 layers of 5oz vegtan for the forehead spike. You will also need contact cement, rivets, thread, elastic & whatever you plan to color it with.
- Tools: exacto knife, rivet setter, mallet, leather hole punch & stitching supplies. If you plan on tooling the design in you will also need a swivel knife and bevellers. A foam head or similar is also very helpful in the shaping process.

EVA Foam Helm
- Pattern designed for 6mm EVA foam. The main helm fits on a 12x18 inch foam sheet, you will need a second sheet for the forehead spike. You will also need contact cement and elastic.

This instant download includes PDFs for printing on US letter or A4 paper sizes as well as a list of suggested materials and brief instructions. There are 2 patterns included - one designed for leather and one for EVA foam. You will receive both patterns with purchase.
