Leather Dragon Pattern for Decoration or Wall Hanging

Leather dragon printable PDF pattern. This small leather dragon can be mounted and hung on the wall or placed on a shelf for fantasy decor. The dragon can be colored creatively any way you wish! I have a youtube video showing how I made my dragon if you'd like to watch the process.

Project difficulty - experienced leatherworker or adventurous maker. This project has some detailed exacto knife cutting & some very small leather shaping - be prepared to take some time with it.

Tools & Materials - I ONLY recommend that you use vegtan cowhide that is 5oz or thinner to make your dragon (I used about a 3oz for mine). The tiny shaping will be impossible with thicker leather. For this project I recommend an exacto knife & cutting mat, a couple sizes of stylus, a swivel knife & optional mules foot stamp if you wish to add the scales. A method for punching holes in leather if you want to add clay claws like I did.
