Project difficulty: depends on how much tooling you choose to do. You could keep it simple and just use a swivel knife for the edges of the feathers, bevel the feather edges and add many feather veins as I did, or any level in between - it's up to you!
Leather mask making is a very accessible hobby and you don't need many tools to get started! For this mask project I recommend at least an exacto knife, cutting mat, pencil & swivel knife, as well as a method for punching holes in leather (for the ties).
