Hobbit Backpack PDF Pattern for Leatherwork

Hobbit backpack printable PDF pattern. This leather backpack is perfect for hobbit cosplay! The design is inspired by Bilbo's backpack in the hobbit movies. The pack includes 1 large compartment with an adjustable top flap, 2 covered side pocketses, adjustable shoulder straps and decorative leaf details. The pack was designed for prop replica/cosplay and all the design choices were made to make it as accurate as possible to Bilbo's. As such it may not be the most comfortable choice for heavy use, however it is a functional backpack for little hobbit adventures.

Project difficulty: experienced leatherworker
Skills involved: complex hand-stitching, rivet setting, leather tooling (if you choose to make the leaves out of leather), leather dying (can be avoided by purchasing colored leather), edge beveling (optional).

The finished backpack measures approximately 43 cm (17 inches) tall, 33 cm (13 inches) wide at the front and 40.5 cm (16 inches) wide with full side pockets.
