Elven Helm - PDF Pattern for Leather & EVA Foam
Elven helm printable PDF pattern for leather or EVA foam. This helmet was inspired by the elven helms in Lord of the Rings but is my own original design. Perfect for cosplay, fantasy photography, woodland adventures and more!
Leather Helm
- Materials: I used 6oz vegtan cowhide for the main body of the helm. You will also need rivets, elastic & whatever you plan to color it with. I have also included optional mounting points for dangly adornments such as feathers, beads or leather strips.
- Tools: exacto knife, rivet setter, mallet & leather hole punch. If you plan on tooling the design in you will also need a swivel knife and bevellers or whichever leather tools you like! A foam head or similar is also very helpful in the shaping process but is not required.
EVA Foam Helm
- The pattern is easy to modify for use with eva foam, simply use glue at the rivet points!
